Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara National Reserve
You will be picked up from the hotel and transfer to the airport and depart to Maasai Mara National Reserve. On arrival, you will be picked from the Airstrip and check into your accommodation. After lunch later proceed for an afternoon game drive, tracking various animal species and birds with your driver/guide. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the campsite.
Day 2: Maasai Mara National Reserve Full Day
After breakfast, you will proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game viewing in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodile. Your dinner and overnight will be at the campsite.
Day 3: Maasai Mara National Reserve – Lake Naivasha
Today, you will get an early morning pre-breakfast game drive. After breakfast, you will depart the Mara region for Lake Naivasha with lunch en route, with scenic views of Mount Longonot and Lake Naivasha from afar on the main highway. After you have checked in into your accommodation and have lunch, later in the afternoon game drive with a visit to Hells Gate National Park which allows walking safari, Hiking, Bicycling ride, Rock climbing and photography of wildlife and a visit to the geothermal power plant. Dinner and overnight will be at the budget hotel with self-contain rooms.
Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, you will proceed for a two-hour boat ride in Lake Naivasha. The lake contains different types of bird species, wildebeests, giraffes, waterbuck, hippos that can be seen near the shoreline. After that, you will drive to Amboseli National Park. Your dinner and overnight will be at the campsite.
Day 5: Amboseli National Park Full Day
Morning breakfast at the camp, then proceed for a game drive. The park contains swampy grounds in which elephants and hippos bathe in abundance. A variety of plains game, antelopes and birds can also be seen and Mount Kilimanjaro’s peak too if weather conditions permit. You will have a picnic lunch then later dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Day 6: Amboseli – Tsavo West National Park
Early morning breakfast. Later, you will drive to Tsavo West National Park and then proceed for a game drive with a visit of Mzima Springs where you can see hippos and fish in crystalline clear water. There are possibilities of seeing crocodiles and monkeys. Arriving in the evening. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at a budget hotel.
Day 7: Tsavo West National Park –Nairobi
After breakfast, you will visit the park for a game drive. Later, you will depart to Nairobi.
